Happy Independence Day! Why not get into the spirit of things and complete your celebratory look today with a color-coordinated Rolex watch? If you need some ideas, here are 13 red, white, and blue Rolex watches to get you started.
GMT-Master II 126719BLRO Meteorite Dial
Here’s an awesome Rolex with all the prerequisite flag-inspired colors! Not only is there the blue and red “Pepsi” Cerachrom ceramic bezel with shining white platinum numerals but this edition also comes with a stunning meteorite dial. While undeniably sporty in looks, this is an ultra-lavish Rolex GMT-Master II as it features an 18k white gold case and a matching 18k white gold bracelet.
GMT-Master II 16710 Pepsi Bezel
No worries if white gold is a little too rich for your taste; the traditional choice for a Rolex GMT is stainless steel, after all. Rolex has made several Pepsi GMT references over the decades and one of our favorites is the classic GMT-Master II ref. 16710, which is the last model to feature the old-school aluminum red, white, and blue bezel insert and slimmer proportions.
Sky-Dweller 326934 Blue Dial
If you want a dressier Rolex watch with GMT capabilities, then there’s the impressive Sky-Dweller, complete with an annual calendar complication for the month and date indicators. This variant, with a steel case, steel bracelet, white gold fluted bezel, and blue dial is the most popular of the collection — and the most appropriate for a red, white, and blue patriotic theme for July 4th!
Yacht-Master 40 126622 Blue Dial
For Independence Day celebrations by the water, a Rolex Yacht-Master would do nicely. Specifically, this Yacht-Master 40 edition, which is furnished with a steel case, platinum bezel, and blue dial. If you look closer at the sunburst blue face, you’ll spot touches of red in the form of the watch’s name and the seconds hand, in addition to the white hour markers and date windows. A nautical-inspired red, white, and blue Rolex, perfect for the holiday.
Yacht-Master II 116689
Next up is also a nautical-inspired Rolex, but this time, the ultra-technical Yacht-Master II regatta chronograph. Featuring a large 44mm white gold case, a white gold Oyster bracelet, and a sandblasted platinum bezel with polished raised numerals, this precious white metal Rolex glistens under the sun. What’s more, the white dial is home to both red and blue details, making this a special red, white, and blue Rolex sports watch to wear on the Fourth.
Submariner 116619LB “Smurf”
There are no rules that say you have to wear all three colors on July 4th, of course, so why not just pick one or two? Take for example the white gold Submariner “Smurf,” nicknamed so for its bright blue Cerachrom ceramic bezel, matching blue dial, and generous white details all over. A striking diving watch to wear on any occasion, this will look especially great with the rest of your Fourth of July gear.
Daytona 116509 Blue Dial
Rolex’s collection of chronograph watches has a few top flag-color picks, including this sublime white gold Daytona with a bright blue dial. Again, we see the combination of red, white, and blue here. There are red accents in the form of the inner subdial rings, at each 5-minute marker on the minute track, and the DAYTONA name. And white is the color chosen for all the remaining text and details.
Daytona 116520 White Dial
If you don’t want to go as flashy as the white gold and blue Daytona, there’s always the classic — and super popular — Daytona 116520. This now-discontinued stainless steel beauty is home to a crisp white dial with the customary trio of registers and three hands at the center. Plus, there’s also a little touch of red by way of the DAYTONA name above the subsidiary dial at 6 o’clock.
Datejust Turn-O-Graph 116264 Blue Dial
While the Datejust is arguably Rolex’s most famous watch model, the Turn-O-Graph variants are lesser known — even to many Rolex fans. The defining trait of a Datejust Turn-O-Graph (also nicknamed the Rolex Thunderbird as it was once the official watch of the USAF Air Demonstration Squadron) is a rotating bezel marked to 60 minutes. This particular model, which would look great at any Independence Day festivities, features a steel case, white gold fluted bezel, and a blue dial with white and red accents.
Day-Date 228239 White Dial
The Rolex nicknamed The President would also be a fitting watch to wear on America’s birthday. So here’s an awesome white gold Day-Date 40 to consider, paired with the famed semi-circular President bracelet and an understated white dial. The crisp dial is punctuated with Roman numerals and, of course, the characteristic pair of calendar windows.
Air-King 114200 Blue Dial
If you prefer a time-only Rolex, then Air-King watches may be just what you need. This particular edition is the last of the classic Air-King versions with smaller 34mm cases before Rolex redesigned the model to be 40mm. The dial is the star of the show here, featuring a sunburst blue background with concentric circles and orange Arabic numerals in a radial layout.
Oyster Perpetual 39 114300 Blue Dial
Although Rolex has now discontinued the 39mm option, many considered this the perfect “Goldilocks” size for an Oyster Perpetual watch. For a July Fourth party, we particularly like this OP 39 with a steel case that houses a rich blue dial that’s subtly dotted with green accents at each of the 12 hour markers. Calm, cool — and collectible.
Oyster Perpetual 36 126000 Coral Red Dial
A red dial is not something Rolex often offers, so when the brand launched the colorful line of Oyster Perpetual watches including a vibrant Coral Red dial variant, Rolex fans got excited. In a surprising move, Rolex discontinued the Coral Red dial in 2022 after less than two years of production. So if you want a head-turning Rolex for your July 4th party, then the Coral Red Oyster Perpetual will do the trick.
